Black Motion Duo Officially SPlit. This Is Why Murdha Bongz and Smol, Have Gone Seperate Ways
The music industry has been left devastated by the news that popular duo Balck Motion has officially split. The duo with members Thabo Manbongwane aka Smol and Bongani Mohosana aka Murdahbongz a rumored to have decided to go their separate ways. Now a few weeks later, Prince Kaybee has come out to share the news that the duo has actually really gone separate ways.
The rumor of their split was first announced in April by Musa Khawula but at that time, they vehemently denied the news and issued a statement saying “The only change which does not affect the duo is that Murdah has rebranded himself from Murdah to Morda. This is because he is preparing to launch his solo career as a Dj, but still remains part and parcel of Black Motion.
Twitter naturally went into meltdown at the news that Black Motion has separated.
I like how y’all act like Black Motion is the first group to break up, you forgot that there was Malaika, Bhongo Mafin, me and Ndo (DJ Cndo), Rhythmic elements and Teargas … y’all will move on and forget about them soon.

I blame Zodwa Wabantu for breaking up Black Motion… Zodwa broke a spell that was put on the group when she slept with the MOTION of the group & then went on a Podcast tour to brag about it. That’s when the woman DJ decided that she wanted all the BLACK to herself. Fear them!💔🤬

Riky Rick Visits Somizi In His Dreams And Shared This Important Message
The late Riky Rick’s death shook everybody and was triggering to many. Somizi Mhlongo was one of the people who was deeply touched by his death and opened up about it in the last episode of Living The Dream with Somizi
Season 5 of Living The Dream reached its end on July 6 with an uneventful few episodes. Viewers do not know how to feel about the season as they all felt the core focus was on his failed marriage with Mohale Motaung.
Nonetheless, we got to hear Somizi’s side of the story. What captured our attention as well was Somizi’s reaction to Riky Rick’s death.
Talking to Vusi Nova, who revealed how shocked he was when he found out about his suicide, Somizi added that he had a dream about the late Boss Zonke.
“Shock of my life. I was just like no way, they’re lying. Like I ever tried to call his number, I called his cousin Bandile and them,” started out Vusi.
Somizi then said, “I had a dream about Riky tweeting me… stop posting lies about me,” he said. Somizi added that this excited him, “I woke up all excited.”
As a person who once thought of committing suicide, he said he understood what those emotions feel like.
“Riky’s passing has really triggered some emotions because I always take it personally when someone says, ‘people who commit suicide, they’re being cowards,’ and stuff like that. For me, I have been on the verge of committing suicide. I know maybe 50 percent of what that darkness feels like. So, it triggered me,” said Somizi.
Riky’s last tweet was him saying he will return a stronger man.
Another person to open up about Riky was Cassper Nyovest who said he thinks about Boss Zonke, everyday.
“I think about Riky Rick every single day. Not a single day can go past without me thinking about him.,” he wrote. He even gushed about how much of a beautiful man he was.
Riky was also in the news after politician Julius Malema, shared a few words about him and how he never attends funerals of suicide victims.
“Artists are not being supported in South Africa and that’s a big problem, but I don’t agree with people who take their lives. I don’t even attend funerals of people who commit suicide.”
“If we are going to resort to that then our children will no longer speak to us. We just wake up in the morning, they have committed suicide. Personally, I have gone through a lot and I’ve never thought of suicide as a solution,” he said.
Julius then added, “We need to encourage our people to speak. You will become a laughing stock for that time, but a solution will be found, there’s always a solution. There are no problems that can not be solved – especially men, they must learn to ask for help. You will only be assisted if you ask for help,” he concluded.
