Lerato Kganyago Loses Her Child

Published

on

Notorious for keeping her personal life private, media personality Lerato Kganyago left her fans shook when she recently revealed details about her relationships including the heartbreaking news that she went through another miscarriage this year.

Taking to her Instagram Stories earlier this month, the Metro FM DJ got candid about her devastation at losing yet another baby.

“I was pregnant. I’m sure you guys saw that I was really big … then I had a miscarriage. Yes, I had a miscarriage this year again, it was my fourth miscarriage,” she revealed.

Lerato explained that she was over 12 weeks pregnant when she lost her child.

“I think I was three-four months pregnant but unfortunately I lost my baba … life goes on. This is something that I didn’t want to discuss but since we’re having [an] honesty night … I was looking forward to this pregnancy, I thought this time around that I had made it through because I had been trying so hard for a while,” Lerato said.

The DJ added that she went back to work a week after her miscarriage because she got a new radio show.

“I lost the baby a week after I got the show, and I had to come back because it was a brand new show and I didn’t want to drop the ball because this was something I always wanted.”

The Metro FM said she was with child around about the same time as fellow Metro FM presenter Dineo Ranaka. Dineo gave birth to a healthy baby boy earlier this year.

“It was so funny because Dineo and I were pregnant at the same time and this is when we were still doing The Bridge … she was just a few months ahead of me … I was hopeful the baby was going to make it through.”

Lerato explained to her fans that she still wanted to be a mother but was done torturing herself with the pain. She said she would look into surrogacy as an option.

Exclusive Pics And Voice Notes : Bujy Boasts About Beating Up Boity

Published

By

Radio and TV personality “Bujy” Bikwa (33) was recently booked and charged for assault with intent to cause grievous bodily harm after allegedly throwing a glass at 31-year-old media personality Boity Thulo.

This resulted in Boity being injured on the face after an argument broke out at a hotel in Midrand Johannesburg. After being held in custody at the Johannesburg Correctional Centre, Bujy was granted R2 000 bail at the Midrand Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday and warned by the court not to tamper with investigations.

Boity has since addressed the incident in a statement saying she is following the case with keen interest.

Several witnesses have come forward over the last few days to state that Boity seemed aggravated on the night of the fight.

Bujy and Boity were among a number of people invited to what was meant to be Huawei’s official launch of the new Nova8 cellphone.

According to the witnesses, the Huawei Nova8 event was initially cancelled because of Johannesburg’s rainy weather on the day.

The Huawei publicity team reportedly decided to take guests out for dinner to make up for the cancellation and said dinner is estimated to have come to an end at around 9.30pm. Guests who were unable to make it home before curfew were booked into the nearby Courtyard Hotel where the fight between Bujy and Boity is said to have taken place.

It is alleged that Boity had gotten into several arguments on the evening prior to her altercation with Bujy.

In an interview with The Citizen, one witness alleges that Boity insisted on giving unsolicited “readings” in her capacity as a traditional healer (sangoma). Her unwelcomed readings were reportedly met with much resistance, which aggravated Boity even further in the witness’ opinion.

At some point during the evening, Bujy reportedly tried to step in and calm Boity down and she did not take too kindly to him attempting to do so.

Listen to what happened the night Bujy Bikwa and Boity Thulo got into a physical altercation:

In audio shared with The Citizen, Bujy and Boity can be heard berating and insulting each other.

“Is this how weak you are? With such aggressiveness?” Bujy asks Boity in the audio clip.
